I have worked with different personal trainers on and off for over 15 years. They have helped me correct my form and improve times and distances, experiment with new kinds of physical activity, and refine my diet.(remove?) I began training with Matt when my chronic back problems began to seriously restrict my athletic activity. He drew my attention to posture and form issues, some of which I knew I had and was unsure how to correct, and even others of which I was unaware. He taught me different techniques and a variety of exercises to improve my conditioning and respond to recurring pain. There was a time when I believed that my back and joint pain would always limit my activity, but the work I have done with Matt has allowed me to be ambitious again. I can now Bench and squat my bodyweight and deadlift nearly 2x my bodyweight.
